Currently: A place to aggregate blogs of everyone in Exoweb.

Vision for the future:

• Aggregate not only blogs but other streams too, such as:
  • microblogs / status updates: Twitter, Jaiku, Jiawai.de, Facebook
  • bookmarks: del.icio.us and Google Reader shares
  • pictures: flickr, Picasa

• Preserve categorization of blogs that are aggregated
  • enable the ExoPlanet itself can be browsed by categories
  • exported the ExoPlanet category feeds as RSS and aggregate them to world-wide planets (such as Planet Python, Planet Debian, Django Community blogs, etc) would give massive traffic boost
  • to give more exposure to Exoweb, export URL to Exoweb landing page? (otherwise all links go directly to hosted blog entry) - tight coupling of ExoBlog would make this easy for ExoBlog blogs
  • flexible way of mapping to ExoPlanet categories - by original post categories, subject lines, keywords in body, etc

• Some way to integrate with Facebook.com? Linkedin.com? Xiaoneiwang.com?

• As with ExoBlog - consider hosting this on GoogleAppEngine
